SPLASH OF COLORS

I am so thankful that I don't have to go through those hot days as it started to rain in my town, Makassar. Knowing that I can wear the thickest jacket without feeling hot is such joy. But rain always reminds me of the good, or bad, old days (no memories in particular, it just reminds me of everything good or bad in the past). Anyway, excuse my duck face below. :p

Color Splash Shirt - TRG-GRS, Watch - Guess, Black Skinny Jeans - Celcius, Vintage Brogue - Lancer

This look is inspired by that period of time (I don't know exactly which one, 60's, 70's, 80's, or 90's) when color-splashed clothes became the trend. I bought this shirt a few days ago when I went shopping with my cousin. It was the last minute when I found it. The splash of colors of this shirt gives that vintage vibes. So I decided to go vintage. All I did in those photos above to dress the shirt vintagely was tuck it in, fold the sleeve a little bit, and button it all the way up and BAM there it goes the vintage shirt you want it.

SOMETHING SIMPLE AND OLD

LocalBrand.co.id is having this contest for bloggers to play fun with our accesories that I was not aware of. I just saw their post on Instagram that said the latest should be submitted by the end of today and thank God I have the chance to submit mine. The pictures below will be in black-and-white and sepia, I don't know why the photos in sepia ended up that way.

Oversized Denim Jacket - Dad's (Levi's), White Tee - Thrift Store, Watch - GUESS, Jeans - Levi's 501, Vintage Shoes - Lancer

Went vintage for today's outfit, I thought of something simple and old. Searching through my closet, I did not find something vintage.. go figure! But luckily, my dad has this denim jacket which is two size bigger than my size so I decided to go for it and it ended up giving the outfit the old touch I desire from the very first start. For the simple touch, I was afraid that too much accesories would kill the vintage feels, so I decided to only have a watch.. remembering I don't have so many accesories since I am the type of a guy that hates to wear so many accesories in one outfit. What matters for me in wearing accesories is that the accesories don't end up out of place. Play fun with accesories doesn't always mean to have all kind of accesories attached to your body, does it? And to not make the outfit duller than it already is, I added the vintage backpack I had back then in high school.

EFFORTLESS

FROM TOP TO BOTTOM:
1. Aztec Tee - Thrift Store
2. Belt - Thrift Store
3. Khaki Pants - Zara Men
4. Watch - Swiss Army
5.  Boots - GATS

I actually wanted to post this look earlier, but too bad I've got a very bad influenza to deal  with few days ago (thank God I'm healed now don't worry) that's why I end up posting it now. How are you guys doing? And how's my effortless look? I must say, it was effortless because I actually didn't plan to have this look but I ended up having it anyway, so yes I'm still posting it.

I bought that Aztec tee long time ago when I walked on a thrift store for tees. The fabric is comfortable as well, good for hot weather. I pair it up with my khaki pants which suited the tee best. I'm not quite sure with the watch though, because I could choose to whether wear it or not. But I wore it anyway, so no pressure. ;D

Anyway, I'd like to thank those who sent condolences for my uncle on my previous look, I appreciated it SO MUCH. Sorry for not replying you guys one by one but please notice that I'm very thankful for your condolences :) THANK YOU.

DENIM LOVE

FROM TOP TO BOTTOM:
1. Denim Shirt - Unbranded
2. Belt - Secondhand
3. Shorts - Unbranded
4. Dark Blue Creepers - ELEL

Who loves wearing denim shirt (or any kind of clothes made of denim)? I am in. I really love doing denim with my look. If you read every single post on my blog, you'll find some of my looks featured with denim jacket or shirts. I like to dress up as simple as I could, but when I thought my look is too simple or simply plain, I always put the denim items on because it changes the vibe of the look to be more man-ish. And this look is one of them. I actually had no idea what to wear with the shorts at first. But I accidentally found this shirt in my closet and it perfectly fit into the look, so I chose to wear it. And the belt made it look vintage which is awesome (yes I am a vintage lover).

Remember when I told you that I am into neon on one of my posts? Yes, I'm wearing one (the tee) with the cute smile print on it, thanks to my mom who bought it. Now I have the tee, so I'm gonna look for the socks and beanie, just wish me luck.

Oh yeah almost forgot! I wanna thank my friend, Ju, 'cause without her I'm not gonna have those pictures captured. Lol

VINTAGE NEVER DIES

FROM TOP TO BOTTOM:
Plain Shirt - Celcius
Suspender - my Friend's
Jeans - Levi's 501
Shoes - GATS Premium Leather Boots

I think Vintage is undeniably cute in certain way. Its uniqueness makes it so lovable nowadays. Not only that, but also its simplicity makes it easy for us to dress like one. In this photos, I combine my plain white shirt with light blue jeans from Levi's, brown boots, and the most important item of the look, suspender. But I think I should add a bowtie. How'd you think?
